Amidophosphoribosyltransferase, also known as glutamine phosphoribosylpyrophosphate amidotransferase, is an enzyme responsible for catalyzing the conversion of 5-phosphoribosyl-1-pyrophosphate into 5-phosphoribosyl-1-amine, using the amine group from a glutamine side-chain.
