The Jamaican tangelo, also known by proprietary names ugli fruit, jangelo, uglifruit, and uniq fruit, is a citrus fruit that arose on the island of Jamaica through the natural hybridization of a tangerine or orange with a grapefruit, and is thus a tangelo.
