United Nations Security Council Resolution 1915, adopted unanimously on March 18, 2010, after recalling resolutions 827, 1581, 1597, 1613, 1629, 1660, 1668, 1800, 1837, 1849, 1877 and 1900, the Council, acting under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter, allowed a temporary increase in judges at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia to serve beyond the expiry of their term of office to enable them to complete work on cases in which they were involved.
