Māturīdism or Māturīdī theology is one of the main Sunnī schools of Islamic theology, developed and codified by the Persian Muslim scholar, Ḥanafī jurist, reformer, and scholastic theologian Abū Manṣūr al-Māturīdī in the 9th–10th century. Wikipedia
