The Girón Agreement, also known as the Girón Treaty, was an agreement signed on February 27, 1829 as a consequence of the Battle of Tarqui, in which the army of Gran Colombia, under the command of Marshal Antonio José de Sucre; and the army of the Peru, under the command of General José de La Mar, faced each other.
